Maravilloso  2013 - Back to School

Yes, its that time. Summer is fastly approaching an end. It is time for a new school year!  Before you enter your first class, make sure you check out the Maravilloso Rules of School, created by students!!! These rules will help you have a smooth transition into school from that lazy summer vacation! Remember, give it your best this school year! Only you can stop yourself from succeeding! 

  1. Try your best.

  2. Do not go to sleep.

  3. Be on time. 

  4. Bring supplies.

  5. Do not beg other students for paper, pencils or other supplies. 

  6. Do not copy other students' work.

  7. Respect your teachers; they control your grade. 

  8. Do all your homework and classwork. 
     

  1. Maintain hair and nails every day. 

  2. Do not show, glue or sew in your weave tracks at school. 

  3. Learn how to wear makeup and make sure it matches you skin color.

  4. If you have a ‘fro, fade, bob, dope boy, Boosie, Webbie, temp fade, pick your hair daily.

  5. Bath daily, use deodorant, and put on lotion. 

  6. Being ashy is not cute. 

  7. Make sure you wear chap stick or lip gloss. 

  8. Maintain your hygiene and maintain fresh breath.

  1. Stop talking so much. 

  2. Girls are to be seen and not heard.

  3. Do not walk down the hallway laughing, cursing and talking loudly. 

  4. Do not wear too short skirts.

  5. Do not (no matter how much you love your bf) kiss him in public, sit on his lap or argue with him.

  6. Do not twerk walking down the hallway.

  1. Do not be messy.

  2. Do not make a scene in school. Do not draw attention to yourself in a bad way.

  3. Do not bring Facebook/Twitter beef to school. It will cause fights and get you kicked out of school. 

  4. Do not BULLY ANYONE! 

  5. If someone is bullying you, seek the help of a teacher or an administrator. 

  1. At school, practice common courtesy in the bathroom. Place items in proper containers. 

  2. Always look back before you leave.  

  3. Always be prepared for that time of the month. Keep it on a calendar. 

  4. FLUSH and WASH YOUR HANDS!

  5. Courtesy flush.

  6. Do not throw toilet paper on the floor.

  7. Do not write on walls or set fire to the trash cans!

  8. Remember, you will need that room one day! Leave it neat as you would want it to be at home!

 

Say NO to Ratchet!

  1. Respect yourself. 

  2. Wearing wrap caps, bed scarves and bonnets is disgusting.

  3. For girls, do not unbutton your pants and walk around in public.

  4. Do not walk around on the back of your school shoes. 

  5. Do not pass gas or belch out loud without excusing yourself.
